Regular Full-time 8 and 12 hour rotating shifts.

Description of Position
Performs and accurately documents multisystem assessment of patients’ entry to Emergency Services, utilizing assessment skills as outlined by nursing standards in determining appropriate interventions. Formulates and implements a plan of care for patients based on assessment data, nursing diagnosis and desired patient outcomes.
Qualifications and Requirements
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current Registered Nurse license in the State of Hawaii. One (1) to two (2) years of medical/surgical or critical care nursing experience, required. One (1) year of Emergency or Trauma nursing experience, preferred. Trauma Nurse Core Course Provider (TNCC/P) and/or Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) certification, preferred or achieved within two years of employment. Certification in Emergency Nursing, preferred. Basic Life Support, Level C, certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, required.
