Radiology/Sedation Nurse
Radiology/MRI
Job Description: Accountable for nursing care in Radiology according to established standards and practices. Will handle sedation and recovery, prep patients, schedule anesthesia and start IV's. Will work in MRI area and CAT Scan as needed. Partners with child and family in evaluating outcomes. Clearly documents all pertinent aspects of care. Provides appropriate education to patient/family regarding all aspects of care, including hospital discharge.
Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program. Current CT RN license and one year clinical experience in pediatrics. Current CPR certification. PALS and /or ACLS certification. Lifting, walking, standing, bending and pulling equipment.
