Medical Call Center
Job Description: The Triage Nurse for the Medical Call Center will work primarily as an after hour telephone triage nurse. In this position you will be working from your own home office. Occassionally there will be daytime meetings to attend at Connecticut Children's Medical Center, however the required shift time is done from your own home. This position rotates on-call, holidays and week-ends, performing the triage nurse role within all areas of the triage nurse function. Must be able to function autonomously, utilizing on-site training and demonstrate excellent problem solving skills. Must be self motivated, possess clinical and computer competence.
Required: Current Connecticut RN license; BSN preferred. Minimum of 5 years clinical experience including 1 year specific to pediatrics. Previous telephone triage/advice experience preferred. Able to demonstrate CCMC core organizational and clinical com
