Job Description
. Status: FT/PT
Full-time 72 - 80 hrs./ Part-time 64 hours. Varied Shifts.
For RN - Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a MSN, BSN, AD, or Diploma plus a minimum of one year experience in the Operating Room.
Experience: Knowledge of scrubbing and circulating duties. Ability to maintain an aseptic and safe environment. Knowledge of path physiology and psychosocial aspects of disease. Previous Spine experience preferred.
License/Certification: Current Colorado RN license, CNOR highly desirable
For Surgery Tech -
Education: Is a graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technologist
Experience: minimum five years experience required
License/Certification: Current certification as a Surgical Technologist required; additional five years of experience may be accepted in lieu of certification BLS Required, and S.T. certification if applicable.
Other required skills and abilities: Knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Working knowledge of principles and practices of aseptic technique. Principles of growth and development for the entire lifespan with the ability to provide care appropriate for the pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients as appropriate to the patient population.
